Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts

On Friday I had the pleasure of Mapping the site of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts for BD Aerial.  I flew down to LA on Thurs night, arriving at midnight and was at the nearby site at 7am to lay ground control with Hathaway Dinwiddie, the construction company for the site.  The acquisition went great despite pretty strong winds.  I was able to fly the entire site early morning and then again around noon to see how the differing shadows affected the data processing.  I also flew the north side fence at a lower altitude to show the client what could be achieved with the data.

Because the data set was so large it took several days to process but I was very happy with the results.  Unfortunately, because this was a BD Aerial project I again can’t post any data “eye candy” to share but trust me, I think Hathaway Dinwiddie will be impressed by what I delivered them on behalf of BD Aerial.
